About OctaNow

Release announcement. OctaNow v2r11 is now available. This version introduces enhanced cloud layer details: information about cloud layers is retrieved directly from SYNOP reports and displayed in the interface. You are encouraged to explore the new functionality, and feedback is very welcome.

Purpose. OctaNow displays the latest five 10-minute surface observations for selected Danish stations. In the lower table, the newest values appear on the left, and all times are shown in UTC. This includes wind, temperature, and clouds when data is available.

Data source. Data are retrieved from DMI Open Data and Ogimet. Parameters include temperature, dew point, humidity, pressure, wind (mean/min/max), cloud cover (octas), cloud base height, and visibility.

How to read values.

For planning. For operational or flight planning purposes, always use official products, Link: northavimet.com/metar-taf.

What you see on this page are the latest five 10-min obs, with the newest on the left (all times UTC).
